Johns Hopkins Educated Dr. Anita DaSilva Ibru Serves Nigeria’s Women Well

Dr. Anita Kemi DaSilva-Ibru is one of only two full time doctors on staff at Ideal Eagle Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. She has much medical training in Nigeria, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from America’s John’s Hopkins University in Maryland. Her graduate work at this prestigious American school has enables her to serve the women of Nigeria in a way that few others can. At Ideal Eagle she works on women’s health issues as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Maternity and female care is something that is often overlooked and underfunded, forcing many women to go without treatment for serious medical conditions. Along with ideal Eagle Hospital, Dr. DaSilva-Ibru has dedicated herself to more than just the service of certain segments of the population. Ideal Eagle is equipped to handle emergency medical care and other services and is dedicated to a policy of inclusion. Dr. DaSilva-Ibru’s role at the hospital has been important to providing much needed care for women.
